The Northeast Maglev seeks an experienced and qualified candidate for an Assistant Project Manager.  The position will work on large infrastructure and construction project where managing multiple teams, priorities and schedules across multiple locations is critical. This position will be assisting in driving the integrated schedule, actively managing the associated budgets, tracking and reporting various stakeholders for performance and will appreciate the critical importance of meeting deadlines.

Position Requirements / Duties

  • Coordinating deadlines and schedules;
  • Monitor performance; and prepare progress reports
  • Assist in preparation of integrated schedules
  • Ability to work as part of a small internal team and as a key contributor to a larger multi-organizational project team
  • Coordinate meetings with key stakeholders and clients;
  • Assist in project status meetings, presentations and briefings
  • Key member of company’s internal project team
  • Work effectively with both State and Federal agencies
  • Preparation of project and executive review packages, and assist Senior Project Manager in presentation of materials at meetings

Experience Required / Recommended

  • 4+ years of progressively advancing work experience in project management and leadership roles
  • Excellent communications skills; both written and oral
  • Experience with driving results across multiple organizations
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of project management and budgets

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, engineering or management a plus
