Northeast Maglev seeks a Senior Right-of-Way Agent who will have a significant role as a member of the Project Development Team. This position will be responsible for all tasks related to the development of the project’s Real Estate Acquisition Management Plan (RAMP), including all procedures/manuals necessary to guide that effort. The successful candidate will have successfully negotiated private and federal/state/local land procurements and easements above and below ground.  This is a role where an organized self-starter with strong communication, report building, analysis, and prioritization skills will thrive.

Position Requirements / Duties

  • Lead the development process for the RAMP
  • Directly manage consultants to maintain scope, schedule, and budget
  • Manage the right-of-way negotiation and acquisition process
  • Prepare required Deed, Easement, Option packages and agreements
  • Prepare comparable market analysis reports
  • Navigate and resolve real estate and land control issues
  • Ensure appropriate project record keeping and reporting for regulatory compliance
  • Coordinate and support meetings with key stakeholders: local planning boards, Federal/State agencies, community groups, and legislators as needed

Experience Required / Recommended

  • 7+ years of progressive work experience in project development and real estate acquisition
  • Experience on large infrastructure/NEPA projects
  • Strong communications skills
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting deliverables and work well under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
