
Marketing & Outreach Intern
Role Overview:
We’re seeking a motivated and versatile Marketing & Outreach Intern to support a broad range of marketing initiatives, with a special focus on educational and university engagement. This position blends digital marketing, event coordination, stakeholder outreach, and data reporting to help us build awareness, strengthen partnerships, and connect meaningfully with students and young professionals. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and passionate about creating compelling experiences that inform and inspire.
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan and support outreach efforts targeting local universities and student organizations
- Build relationships with student groups, faculty leaders, and career services to identify speaking, sponsorship, and event opportunities
- Develop and manage marketing presentations and informational materials tailored for student and academic audiences
- Assist with scheduling, logistics, and content planning for public and community events
- Collaborate with the marketing team on social media content, email campaigns, and promotional strategies
- Contribute to general marketing tasks such as content development, internal communications support, or administrative coordination
Ideal qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with event planning, outreach coordination, or community-based programming
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, social media tools, and content planning systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to shifting priorities
- Passion for outreach, marketing strategy, and building connections that make a lasting impact
Position Requirements
- This is a part-time position requiring in-office attendance at least 3 days per week
- Must have reliable transportation to attend community, university, and industry events throughout local communities
- Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required depending on event scheduling
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry marketing materials and event supplies (up to 25 lbs.)
- Comfortable working in both professional office and public event settings
