Photographs of Northeast Maglev staff distributing face masks in local communities

In celebration of #GivingTuesday, last week Northeast Maglev partnered with The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square, Carolina Kitchen and Prince George’s Faith-Based Advisory Board to donate over 2,400 masks to help fight the spread of COVID-19 within our community.

Check out some photos from the day’s events below!

The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square – Food and Mask Distribution

The Sanctuary at Kingdom Square is a Baptist church dedicated to serving the Christian community. We were proud to partner with the ministry in handing out masks and 1,000 meals to community members. Huge thanks to Pastor Anthony G. Maclin for having us!

Carolina Kitchen & Prince George’s Faith-Based Advisory Board

Later that afternoon, Northeast Maglev was proud to partner with the Prince George’s Faith-Based Advisory Board and Carolina Kitchen to celebrate the Class of 2020. Our team handed out face masks and Maglev gear to graduating high school seniors from across Prince George’s County. If you look closely, you can spot a few graduates toting around some of our favorite bags.

No celebration is complete without dessert! After indulging in Carolina Kitchen’s southern delicacies, graduates could opt-in for a tasty treat provided by the Northeast Maglev team. Baked by Midnite Confections, delicious cupcakes capped off a great day in the community.

Now more than ever, Northeast Maglev believes that by working together we can do big things for our community. We are looking forward to continuing to partner with community groups throughout the region! Keep track of what we’re up to by following us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
