The Northeast Maglev team is proud to be able to continue efforts to give back to those that have been affected during this pandemic. Last week, in partnership with community leaders, our team was able to distribute 1,000 more reusable masks to communities across Maryland.
The Cottage City Town Hall
Cottage City is a small, diverse community that is rich in history. Our team worked alongside community leaders to distribute reusable masks to families that have been impacted by COVID-19. The Cottage City police department provided for a safe environment that allowed members of the community to receive aid during this time.
Mt. Ephraim Baptist Church
Mount Ephraim Baptist Church is committed to spreading the love of God by providing support to members within their community. Northeast Maglev is proud to have taken part in their commitment and have donated reusable masks to members of the church and residents in the area. Our masks were distributed during the church’s food drive over the weekend! Big thanks to Reverend Joseph Gilmore and Maryland’s Legislative Black Caucus Chairman, Darryl Barnes for allowing our team to take part in the church’s service initiatives.
First Baptist Church of Highland Park
Even in stormy conditions, our team could be seen assisting the First Baptist Church of Highland Park during their food distribution service over the weekend. Pastor of the church, Henry Davis, welcomed the donation of 400 reusable masks that our team successfully distributed despite being soaked from head to toe!
Northeast Maglev is proud to be one of the many companies, leading the way in service during these difficult times. Check out how other Maryland companies are giving back to their community by visiting Governor Larry Hogan’s website here.
